Chinlan Sonia Chiang is a contemporary abstract painter in the Bay Area. Her recent work offers the viewers an intensified sense of space, light, and movement. She tries to convey massive energy to the audience and hope they appreciate the beauty of art in the spiritual minds. She received her BFA from National Taiwan Normal University in Taiwan , and her MFA from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco , California .

Chinlan exhibits her paintings in many solo and juried group shows throughout the western United States and Taiwan , where she was born. Now she is represented by some galleries in California and her work is found in many private collections in America as well as Taiwan .
